Building Strong Business Collaborations and Relationships.
In honour of Marcus Garvey’s Birthday on 17th August and his legacy, I am so excited to be sharing this live with my awesome business coach Lashanda Henry where we empower black women business owners to build stronger connections through doing the internal racial wellness healing work. A Tree Without Roots?
‘A people without the knowledge of their past history, origin and culture is like a tree without roots.’ Marcus Garvey.
On the 17th August was the Honorable Marcus Garvey’s birthday. This grandfather of PanAfricanism mobilised millions of Africans around the world to stand in their power, build businesses and be proud of their history. In this session (44), I honour his legacy by sharing how doing the internal work can have a huge impact on how we practice black empowerment in business.
Releasing Guilt
Do you feel guilty about focusing on your healing process? Many of us want to feel more empowered in our lives but also fear the isolation and feelings that often accompany letting go of our old lives. In this session, I share on what’s really underneath our guilt and how to release it so you can move on.
Reignite Joy!
Sometimes, we can get so caught up in the suffering that we forget the importance of nurturing joy as part of the process. This podcast episode was recorded at Womad Music festival! I’m having an absolute blast and check in to remind you how to reignite your joy!
