June Allen is the founder of the Yard of Greatness Academy, an online training, mentorship and empowerment community for people of colour to heal from the impact of racism and addiction to self hate. For many, the impact of racism is not always included in the growth process. This leaves the community carrying racial pain which impacts their ability to thrive and grow. With her experience, strength and hope in recovery since 2010, June has used her story of addiction, abuse and racism to educate the community on how to heal their cultural wounds and maintain their racial sobriety through personal empowerment and 12 step recovery. June has been featured on Dr Stacey Patton's, Spare The Kids, Naturally You Day with Leah Salmon and is also a regular guest on The C.O.W.S radio show with Gus.T. Renegade.
