3 Daily Essentials for Racial Wellness.
One of the most powerful things I’ve learned over the years is that as long as racism (white supremacy is alive), our pain will be cyclical if it is not managed on a daily basis. We need nurturing tools to help us navigate the impact of our oppression to help us stay connected to our greatness and each other. In this live stream I share 3 core tools, the 3 R’s that should be included in your daily practice. Watch, absorb, go forth and be great!
How ‘Black Time’ Destroys Self Esteem.
Chronic lateness, or ‘Black Time’ as we call it, is something that many of us laugh about and accept as part of our culture. However, in line with what I’m teaching in the Self Love Rehab course, I believe that chronic lateness can also be a symptom of low self esteem. In this video, I will help you explore your relationship with time and how time boundaries can be a powerful tool for healing transformation.

Surrender to Self Love
When our life experience has been dominated by pain, its hard to trust others, our Higher Power, ourselves. This mistrust makes us vulnerable to the insanity of trying to control everything. Many of us are so used to suffering that it feels hard to open up to wonder of what it means to be human.
In this podcast, I talk about the power of surrender. Surrender is when we allow ourselves to take small loving actions to self nurture even when it feels uncomfortable and we’re afraid of the outcome.
Today, I will let go of my what does not serve me and surrender to the power of self love.
African Health and Wellbeing Day with Nigel Stewart
I thoroughly enjoyed this rich, cultural, playful and passionate conversation with Nigel Stewart. We talked about his early entrepreneur roots, the legacy of healing for our community, politics and negotiating whiteness. I also asked him, is it lovers rock or bashment? fried or boiled dumplin? ?? and of course we talked all about how to get the best out of the African Health and Wellbeing Day. One of my fave live streams to date!Enjoy!
